John Crane's three-day, instructor-led Engineered Sealing Systems (ESS) course includes:

 

  •        Seal design and operation
  •        Support systems
  •        Failure analysis and troubleshooting
  •        Seal assembly and seal installation.

 

Key concepts, theory, and application are presented through an effective blend of classroom instruction, practical hands-on exercises, and group activities. The ESS course includes participant assessments of presented concepts and practical elements. This version delivers the ESS concepts in person, through classroom instruction and hands-on practice. A certificate is issued to delegates on successful course completion. CEU credits available.

  • Prepare a report communicating visual indicators of mechanical seal performance issues.
  • Relate seal performance issues to overall system reliability and plant productivity.
